A very embarrassing moment happened to me whilst my friend was visiting.
My toddler son spilled his drink on the floor tiles and I was just about to yell, when my 5yrs old daughter patted my shoulder and said to me, mum Don’t yell! Here is the mop. Just clean it up, don’t yell!
I felt as if the floor should open up and swallow me up right there in front of my visiting friend, my daughter has just labelled me a yeller when all I ever yell about was for their safety and care?
This led to a discussion between me and my friend, thus a question came up, is it possible to raise a toddler without yelling?
If so, what methods have you substituted yelling with and has worked for you as a parent?
Pls share..thank you
